Rev. Dr. Harry L. White, Jr. has served as pastor of Watts Chapel Missionary Baptist Church since 2006, leading with a heart for discipleship, evangelism, and community service. A Baltimore native and honors graduate of Howard University, he holds a Master of Divinity from United Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Beeson Divinity School, Samford University. He is a published author and was inducted into the Martin Luther King, Jr. Board of Preachers at Morehouse College in 2019.
Pastor White is married to Dr. Shauntae Brown White, and together they are the proud parents of Nia and Kai.
By the grace of God, Watts Chapel has experienced significant spiritual, fiscal, numerical and ministry growth. Since 2006, we have grown to 3,000 members. Due to this growth, we are in the beginning stages of plans for the construction of new facilities and the re-imagination and configuration of existing facilities.
